Robert H. Goldberg is the Director of the Office of U.S. Foreign Assistance Resources (F), an Assistant Secretary equivalent. He began this position in January 2010. As the Director, Mr. Goldberg manages the State/USAID foreign assistance budget.

Prior to assuming this position, Mr. Goldberg served as the Deputy Associate Director for International Affairs at the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) where he managed the International Affairs division, which is responsible for budget and policy matters relating to the State Department and USAID foreign assistance programs.

Mr. Goldberg also served for five years as Chief of the Force Structure and Investment Branch of OMB's National Security Division where he was responsible for budget and policy matters relating to the Department of Defense's weapon system procurement and R&D programs.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Goldberg was a senior program analyst at the General Accounting Office where he reviewed and evaluated a number of Department of Defense research, develop and acquisition programs, including the Seawolf Attack Submarine. Mr. Goldberg earned a MA in International Affairs from The George Washington University in 1990 and is a graduate of the Naval War College's College of Naval Command and Staff.
