Secretary of State John Kerry will deliver remarks at the 100,000 Strong Foundation Inaugural Conference on November 21 at 3:40 p.m. at American University.  Chinese Vice Premier Liu Yandong will also deliver remarks.

American University President Dr. Neil Kerwin will introduce Secretary Kerry.

The conference is being held in conjunction with the fourth annual U.S.-China Consultation on People-to-People Exchange (CPE), which is led by Secretary Kerry and Vice Premier Liu.  The 100,000 Strong Foundation seeks to dramatically increase the number and diversity of U.S. students studying in China and studying Mandarin.

The event will be streamed live on www.state.gov.  

The event will be pooled press coverage for videographers and still photographers.  It will begin at 3:40 p.m. at American University.
