Acting Assistant Secretary of State for International Organization Affairs Dean Pittman will travel to Kunming, China, July 30 to August 1 to participate in annual talks of the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council. While in Kunming, Acting Assistant Secretary Pittman will lead U.S. participation as the P-5 officials discuss issues facing the Security Council, including peacekeeping, sanctions, country-specific issues, and the UN budget and organization.
