In addition, check with your post of assignment as to the cost of small appliances locally. Some Mission commissary stores also sell 110-220 small appliances.

How to sign up for AAFES
USG direct hire personnel posted overseas are eligible to purchase from Army Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES). The office of commecary and recreational affairs can assist them in registering. Only employees currently stationed overseas are eligible for the assistance. For more information contact your local association.
