Assistant Secretary Jones will also meet with the Science Advisor to Malaysia’s Prime Minister, visit the Forest Research Institute Malaysia, host a science outreach event with local youth, and conduct media interviews. In Australia, Assistant Secretary Jones will serve as Head of the U.S. Delegation at the Joint Committee Meeting on Science and Technology between Australia and the United States. She will also visit the Sydney Institute of Marine Science and the Australian National Fabrication Facility, in addition to leading a roundtable with students at the University of Sydney.
