Brief description of call: This teleconference will focus on opportunities for U.S. firms in the travel and tourism industry to support increasing demand in Kuwait for tourism to the United States. A representative from Kuwait’s largest travel agency consortium will discuss the Kuwaiti tourism market and client demands for all-inclusive travel products and services in the U.S. as well as interest in learning about new tourist destinations. Callers will have the opportunity to pose questions directly to Ambassador Tueller and the travel representative during the Q&A portion of the teleconference. Representatives from the Economic, Public Affairs, and Consular sections and the Foreign Commercial Service will also be available to answer any questions about doing business in Kuwait or Kuwaiti travel to the United States.
