Question: Does the State Department have any comment on Jordan’s plan to release the individual convicted of killing Laurence Foley?

Answer: We understand from the Government of Jordan that the decision to recommend a special pardon for a number of sentenced convicts does not include Mohammed Issa Da’amas.
