Special Representative for Global Intergovernmental Affairs Reta Jo Lewis and Yvonne Lodico, head of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research’s (UNITAR), New York Office, will co-host the Forum on Global Partnership for Sustainable Development at the Sub-national Level (the Forum) on Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, 3:00-6:00 pm, at United Nations Headquarters, Conference Room D (NLB), New York City.

Special Representative Lewis will lead this workshop. The Forum panelists will include: Jean Quan, Mayor of Oakland, Calif.; Andrew M. Manshel, Executive Vice President, Greater Jamaica, NY Development Corporation; John Pastor, Director, International Trade and Development for the State of Delaware; and Tom Peterson, President and CEO, the Center for Climate Strategies. The workshop will include representatives of The C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group and Permanent Representatives whose countries are fostering both bilateral and sub-national solutions to achieve the global agenda for sustainable development.
