On Tuesday, July 10 at 8:00 a.m., U.S. Global AIDS Coordinator Ambassador Eric Goosby, M.D. will deliver keynote remarks at a Health Affairs briefing entitled, “Assessing The President's Emergency Plan For AIDS Relief: Past Achievements And Future Prospects For PEPFAR.”

Ambassador Goosby will discuss lessons learned from the first decade of the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), focusing on successes that can inform future global health efforts and build upon PEPFAR’s substantial AIDS investments and response.

The briefing be held at the Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill, 400 New Jersey Avenue Northwest, Washington, DC and will follow the release of Health Affairs’ July 2012 issue, "Assessing The President's Emergency Plan For AIDS Relief, “ which will contain articles examining the successes scored by PEPFAR, the lessons learned, and the opportunities to move forward toward an "AIDS-free generation."
