Brief description of call: This teleconference will focus on opportunities for U.S. firms in the water treatment sector in Oman. Participants will receive an overview of doing business under the U.S.-Oman Free Trade Agreement, as well as information on specific upcoming opportunities in municipal sewage treatment, desalinization plants, and oil extraction wastewater treatment. Participants will have the opportunity to pose questions directly to Ambassador Schmierer and senior decision-makers at municipal water treatment company Haya Water and state oil company Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) during the Q&A portion of the call.
