Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton will host her G8 counterparts for the G8 Foreign Ministers Meeting at the Blair House in Washington, DC, April 11-12.

Please see below for the current schedule of media opportunities. For pooled press events, individual delegations will determine their pools.

Media representatives may attend open press events and be granted entry into the file center upon presentation of one of the following: (1) A Government-issued identification card (Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense or Foreign Press Center), (2) a media-issued photo identification card, or (3) a letter from their employer on letterhead verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo identification card (driver's license, passport). Press should allow adequate time to process through security.

VIDEO FEEDS

The State Department will provide broadcast quality, standard definition 16:9 video clips of each of the pooled press events and the final press availability in both NTSC and PAL for direct download at www.stateondemand.state.gov.

Standard definition 16:9 feeds of each of the pooled press events and the final press availability can be accessed through the Verizon AVOC broadcast switch. Broadcasters should make arrangements with Verizon (potomac.media@verizon.com) for access. Global transmission service providers already on the Department’s switch include Associated Press Television News, Reuters, Eurovision, Level 3 Vyvx, and Encompass Digital Media and Beers/The D.C.
