As the Deputy, Olivette provides managerial and administrative oversight for daily activities that govern the Department’s accreditation and credential process for U.S. delegates' participation in international multilateral conferences. She obligates and reprograms organizational financial resources to meet administrative and logistical conference requirements.

Olivette served with the Department’s Iraq Reconstruction Management Office at Embassy Bagdad. She was the Senior Logistics Advisor to the Iraq Minister of Defense responsible for advising the Iraq General for Acquisition, Logistics, and Infrastructure and his senior military officers.

Her previous assignment was as the Regional Director for Logistics in Korea, and civilian logistics advisor supporting the Installation Management Command, Department of the Army. She managed and provided oversight for logistical operations at four Garrisons that provided customer support to the Armed Forces community of 125,000 personnel. Olivette who is retired from the United States Army as an officer in the Quartermaster Corps deployed in support of the global war on terrorism and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
