QUESTION: Some Indian officials have complained about additional security requirements for flights from India to the U.S. Why are these security measures required? How can India officials’ concerns about these measures be addressed? With what office or agency?

ANSWER: For questions about security measures taken for flights into the U.S., we refer you to the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), as the lead agency for the U. S. on aviation security.
