Question: Can you provide a readout of Secretary Clinton’s May 19 meeting with Armenian Foreign Minister Nalbandian?

Answer: Secretary Clinton met with Armenian Foreign Minister Eduard Nalbandian to discuss a range of issues, including the Minsk Group peace process on Nagorno-Karabakh, human rights and democracy building, and the normalization of relations between Armenia and Turkey. Secretary Clinton reaffirmed the United States’ commitment to work closely with Armenia to secure the foundations of a stable, democratic, and prosperous Armenia at peace with its neighbors.
