Assistant Secretary Ann Stock and Deputy Assistant Secretary Alina Romanowski Travel to Indonesia and Malaysia

Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs Assistant Secretary Ann Stock will travel to Indonesia and Malaysia February 4 – 11, 2011. She will be accompanied on her travel by Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs Deputy Assistant Secretary for Academic Programs Alina Romanowski.

Assistant Secretary Stock and Deputy Assistant Secretary Romanowski will exchange views with Malaysian and Indonesian education and cultural officials and discuss a wide range of bilateral, regional, and global educational and cultural issues, including English language teaching, educational advising, cultural programming and alumni engagement. During their travel they will also meet with cultural and educational exchange participants and alumni, including of the Fulbright Program, Humphrey Program and Youth Exchange and Study Program.

Assistant Secretary Stock and Deputy Assistant Secretary Romanowski will return to Washington on February 11, 2011.
