Question: Did the United States ask Frank Wisner to travel to Egypt, or did he independently choose to travel there and meet with officials?
Answer: Frank Wisner is in Cairo. The U.S. Government asked him to go. As someone with deep experience in the region, he is meeting with Egyptian officials and providing his assessment.
