Hello and welcome! I'm Arturo Valenzuela, and I serve as Assistant Secretary for Western Hemisphere Affairs in the United States Department of State.

We're always looking for the best ways to communicate with students and youth from around the Americas. I'm delighted to announce that I will hold a digital town hall on Wednesday, November 3 at the George Washington University right here in Washington, D.C. with students interested in United States policy in the Americas.

While the event will take place physically in Washington, we've set up this YouTube Moderator channel so that you can submit video questions on this site and be a part of the discussion no matter where you are. There will also be live broadcasts in select locations around the continent.

On the day of the event, I'll deliver brief remarks and take questions from YouTube, as well as our Facebook page. I look forward to your questions. This is your opportunity for us to engage on what matters to you and to your generation. I look forward to receiving your questions and connecting live with you from around our hemisphere on November 3rd.
