Lori is a results-driven international development professional experienced in the planning, management, monitoring and evaluation of US Government assistance programs through USAID Office of Food for Peace. She has nonprofit, private sector and US Government expertise in emergency, post conflict and development settings with programming experience in cross cutting areas such as food security, health, HIV/AIDS, micro-finance, refugee assistance, conflict management and integrated rural development.

She is fluent in French with 15 years in sub-Saharan Africa working as an effective liaison among governments, private sector entities, and the non-profit community. She is currently serving as a Food for Peace Officer (FFPO) which is also known as a Country Backstop Officer (CBO) and serves as the Agreement Officer’s Technical Representative (AOTR) specializing in food security issues. She is responsible for analyzing food aid needs, recommending and implementing strategies that respond to those needs in line with the Office of Food for Peace strategic plan, and managing food assistance programs implemented by private voluntary organizations (PVOs) and the United Nation’s World Food Program (UNWFP). She is currently assigned to the West Africa Team managing programs in Guinea, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Liberia and Cote d’Ivoire.

Lori enjoys swimming, taking long walks, meeting people and traveling to new places.
