Deputy Secretary Steinberg's Travel to Bosnia and Herzegovina and Bulgaria

Deputy Secretary James B. Steinberg is traveling to Sarajevo on June 2 to attend the EU-Western Balkans ministerial meeting organized by the Spanish-EU Presidency, with the participation of leaders from all the countries in the region. This meeting further reaffirms U.S. and EU support for the Euro-Atlantic integration of the Western Balkans.

On June 3, Deputy Secretary Steinberg will travel to Sofia, Bulgaria for meetings with senior government officials. He will express U.S. appreciation for our partnership with Bulgaria and discuss a broad range of bilateral issues.
