Arthur Pang is the regional coordinator for East Asia Pacific and South & Central Asia in the Office of Alumni Affairs, in the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Mr. Pang has spent the entirety of his professional career in government service. Prior to joining Alumni Affairs, Pang served as an international trade specialist at the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. Embassy in Beijing.

Mr. Pang was born in Houston, Texas, where he attended public schools until college. Working with Houston Mayor Pro-tem Gordon Quan’s office, he learned the importance of multiculturalism and public service.

Moving to Washington, D.C. in 2003, Mr. Pang attended American University and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Business Administration and a B.A. in International Studies.

An alumnus of both the Fulbright Grant Program (China, 2007) and the NSEP David L. Boren Scholarship (China, 2005), Mr. Pang will be attending Columbia University in the fall pursuing a Master's in International Affairs.
