Tuesday morning, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright will announce a new partnership between the Department of State and Partners for a New Beginning (PNB), a new group of eminent Americans who will reach out to the private sector and work in close coordination with the Department of State to advance programs between the United States and Muslim communities.

Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright will attend the announcement and serve as the Chairwoman of Partners for a New Beginning. PNB will be an independent, self-administered group, with the Aspen Institute serving as its Secretariat. Aspen Institute President Walter Isaacson and Chairman and CEO of The Coca-Cola Company Muhtar Kent will serve as Vice-Chairs.

The announcement will take place on April 27 at 10:45 a.m.

The announcement will be open to credentialed members of the media in the Treaty Room at the Department of State.

Pre-set time for cameras: 10:00 a.m. at the 23rd Street Entrance.
Final access time for journalists and still cameras: 10:30 a.m. at the 23rd Street Entrance.
