The Special Representative for Global Partnerships, Ambassador Elizabeth Frawley Bagley, hosted the first U.S. Government sponsored TED Talks at the Department of State. Speakers included Clay Shirky, Jacqueline Novogratz, Stewart Brand, Paul Collier, and Hans Rosling, who shared their “new ideas for a better world” with an audience of over 700, including State Department and USAID personnel as well as invited guests from businesses, philanthropies, academia, faith communities, and other organizations.
