Lisa Lee works in program assessment at the Division of Accountability, Oversight, and Evaluation in the Bureau of Human Resources-Civil Service Human Resource Management. Prior to coming to State, she was at the Division of Human Capital Leadership and Merit System Accountability in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM). While there, she helped lead efforts in providing strategic guidance and consultation to government-wide agencies in a variety of strategic planning, human capital, and organization development dimensions. Prior to OPM, Ms. Lee worked for the Montgomery County Government in Maryland as a Community Development Manager for the Office of the County Executive.

Ms. Lee is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University, where she received a Master of Science degree in Organization Development and Strategic Human Resources. She is an active community volunteer and serves on the Board of Directors for multiple volunteer community non-profit organizations in the areas of advocacy, education, and civil rights. Most recently, Ms. Lee was the recipient of the Organization of Chinese Americans (OCA) National Unsung Hero Award for her outstanding community leadership and advocacy work.

Ms. Lee is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and enjoys traveling around the world, cooking and the creative and performing arts.
