Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton will deliver remarks at the first-ever joint session of the Antarctic Treaty Consultative Meeting (ATCM) and the Arctic Council on Monday, April 6, 2008 at 9:40 a.m. in the State Department’s Loy Henderson Conference Room.

Secretary Clinton’s remarks are open for press coverage.

Camera Pre-set time: 8:15 a.m.-9:00 a.m. from the 23rd Street entrance.
(Note: All cameras must be set up in the room prior to 9:00 a.m.)
Final access time for all press: 9:15 a.m. from the 23rd Street entrance.

To participate in the event, media must present one of the following: (1) a U.S. Government-issued identification card (Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense or Foreign Press Center); (2) a media-issued photo identification card; or (3) a letter from their employer on letterhead verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo identification (driver's license or passport).
