Question: When was the last time that a senior U.S. official (equivalent to Stephen Blake) from Washington visited the Foreign Minister of Burma?
Answer: Former Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Matthew Daley met with the Burmese Foreign Minister in Burma in November 2001. Former Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Eric John and former Office Director for Mainland Southeast Asia Robert Rapson met with the Burmese Foreign Minister in Beijing in June 2007.
