On June 2-6, Secretary of State John Kerry accompanied President Obama during his visit to Warsaw, Poland; Paris, France; and Normandy, France.

While in Warsaw, Secretary Kerry met with Polish Foreign Minister Sikorski and attended meetings with President Obama.

On June 4, Secretary Kerry traveled to Beirut to meet with senior officials to discuss bilateral relations, the impact of the ongoing conflict in Syria on Lebanon, and other issues of mutual concern.

While in Paris, Secretary Kerry attended meetings with President Obama before departing for Normandy to participate in commemorations marking the 70th anniversary of D-Day.

From Normandy, Secretary Kerry traveled to Saint Briac, France to pay tribute to three American servicemen killed in the Allied liberation of the town during World War II. He also participated in a program saluting enduring U.S.-French military and diplomatic cooperation, and thanked townspeople who helped save his family's home in the community.
