Detroit International Bridge Company, or DIBC, a U.S. company incorporated under the laws of Michigan, filed a claim against the Government of Canada related to the Ambassador Bridge, which spans the Detroit River between Detroit and Windsor, Canada. DIBC asserts that certain decisions made by Canada with respect to the Ambassador Bridge violate NAFTA Article 1102 (national treatment), Article 1103 (most favored nation treatment), and Article 1105 (minimum standard of treatment).
