DipNote: Secretary Kerry Travels to Moscow»

Secretary Kerry traveled to Moscow, Russia on May 7-8, where he met with senior Russian government officials to discuss Syria, North Korea, Afghanistan, and other bilateral and global issues. Secretary Kerry also met with representatives from civil society.

On May 8, Secretary Kerry traveled to Rome, Italy, where he met with senior Italian government officials to discuss the full range of bilateral and global issues, including events in Afghanistan, Syria, and elsewhere in the Middle East.

In Rome, the Secretary also met with Jordanian Foreign Minister Judeh to discuss regional issues and with Israeli Justice Minister Livni as part of his ongoing discussions on the path to peace.
