This course is dedicated to informing eligible family members (EFMs) of various portable career options they might consider pursuing as a means to more consistent international employment. This one-day seminar will include a presentation on career branding as well as three EFM-led sessions on consulting, building a telepractice business, and starting a teaching enterprise. Key regulations regarding operating a small business as a member of a Mission community will also be addressed.

Participant Feedback:

"I thought there was a lot of great information and was very respectful of spouses/partners in taking the time to come up with creative ways to have a professional life. The energy in the room was very creative and positive which to me was a big plus. It was good to network with interesting people."

"I was inspired by the presenters and enjoyed the encouragement to think outside the box especially regarding the skills, experiences, and hobbies I already have. I had a few 'aha' moments when I felt, 'I could do that!' So thank you!"
